My niece: (confused) …uh… so I was born from a melon, auntie Re?

Me: (pondering) Well… your mom did gained a lot of weight… but… no… not quite.

My sister-in-law: (mumbling) Shut up, Rere…

By the way… I don’t have a niece (or nephews) just yet… however I already dream of the day I can start explaining to her (or him) in my own terms how ‘grown-up’ stuff happens out here.
